About Salt & Light

Those of us that call northern New Hampshire home know this is a special place. Between the mountains, small towns, and close-knit communities, it’s a place where people look out for one another and faith still matters.

Salt & Light exists to bring the larger Christian community of northern New Hampshire together. Our region is filled with faithful churches, dedicated pastors, and believers who care deeply about their communities. Yet too often we serve side-by-side without always knowing how we can support one another.

Salt & Light was created to help build bridges between churches, ministries, and believers across the north country.

Inspired by the words of Jesus Christ in the gospel of Matthew 5:13–16, we believe followers of Christ are called to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world—bringing hope, truth, and compassion to the places where God has planted us.

Our hope is to provide a place where the Christian community can:

• Discover local church and ministry events

• Share prayer needs and praises

• Learn about opportunities to serve

• Stay connected with what God is doing throughout northern New Hampshire

• Strengthen unity within the Body of Christ

Salt & Light is not tied to any single church or denomination. Instead, it exists to support and encourage the entire Christian community throughout the north country and beyond.

We believe that when the Church works together—across towns, traditions, and congregations—we become a stronger witness of Christ’s love to our neighbors.

Our prayer is that Salt & Light will help believers throughout northern New Hampshire, and further afield, connect, encourage one another, and continue shining the light of Christ in every corner of our communities.
